Cherry Peach Berry Summer Sangria

While I love baking every Friday with you, this Friday felt like we needed to kick it up with a fun cocktail for Memorial Day. I chose this delicious cherry peach berry summer sangria.

This White Sangria is not only refreshing, but it's incredibly easy to make!

I used fresh cherries, peaches, strawberries, blackberries, and some lemon slices. You can get creative with other fruits as well.

I prefer a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, but you can use any white wine you choose.

For the liqueur, peach schnapps gives this sangria a wonderful light and sweet touch and brings out the flavor in the fresh peaches.

INGREDIENTS

1  lemon thinly sliced

1 large peach thinly sliced with pit removed

strawberries stems removed and thinly sliced

cherries pits removed, sliced in half

blackberries

16 oz bottle white wine

1/2 cup peach schnapps

1 cup prosecco or club soda

Ice

DIRECTIONS

Slice your fruit and place the fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher. Add wine, peach schnapps (or liqueur of your choice), and stir gently until combined. Refrigerate for a few hours to let your fruit marinate. To serve, add a splash of bubbly (prosecco or club soda are both great) Serve chilled over ice.

Tip: Don’t add your bubbly or ice until ready to serve, so you don’t dilute your sangria.

ENJOY and Happy Memorial Day !
